You don't have to love AI. But you can't afford to ignore it.
That's why I created the AI Basics Workshop.
I'm a UX designer with 25 years in the field — and nothing in those 25 years hit like the last 12 months. AI has drastically changed how I work, create, and think about my career. I use it every day.
I'm amazed by it. I also lose sleep over it.
This workshop exists because the gap between people who get AI and people who don't is widening fast. I’m here to help you understand it so you can make informed choices on how to use it.
The concerns are real — job displacement, privacy erosion, misinformation, a pace of change that nobody asked for. I'm not here to sell you on AI or tell you everything is going to be fine. What I can tell you is this: the people who understand it will have more agency over what comes next than the people who don't.
Let's be honest about AI for a minute.
That’s how this workshop differs
Most AI workshops are taught by technologists who love the technology. This one is taught by someone who has complicated feelings about it — and thinks you probably do too.
We don't skip the hard questions. We talk about job loss, data privacy, misinformation, and the environment. And then we roll up our sleeves and learn to use these tools anyway — because awareness without capability doesn't protect you. Knowing how this works does.
Who this workshop is for
This workshop is for anyone who has heard the word "AI" more times than they can count — and still isn't quite sure what to do with it.
Maybe you've been meaning to try one of these tools but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe someone in your life keeps telling you that you need to learn this stuff and you're not sure where to start. Maybe you're just curious, a little skeptical, and want someone to give it to you straight.
If that sounds like you — you're exactly who this workshop was built for.
No tech experience needed. Seriously.
